Commercials
Television Advertising: TV ads are the most popular and effective form of mass marketing advertising to the general public. Today’s 21 year olds have watched 20,000 hours of TV. However, the reality of the matter is many TV viewers find ads to be “annoying” and use the power of a remote control or hard drive recorders like Tivo to bypass ads. So what makes the difference between the very successful and not as successful commercials? Quality. We see a commercial as a mini-movie, complete with a narrative story, cinematic shots, and all the elements of an Academy Award Winning film. Just ask major companies whose popular branding TV spots created a pop cultural advertising phenomena if this worked for them. Nike’s commercials are directed by Academy Award Nominees Michael Mann (The Aviator, The Insider) and Terry Gilliam (Brazil). Other feature film directors to make their start in commercials include Michael Bay (Pearl Harbor, Transformers) who directed hit Verizon and Chevy commercials, and Wong Kar Wai (Chung King Express) who directed Motorola and BMW commercials. We bring the same level of quality to our commercial work.
High Definition Television Commercials: HD Commercials are increasing in popularity. With new RED cameras, it’s possible to achieve a film look without the extraneous costs and hassle of film. Ford is one of the first companies to launch an all out HD commercial campaign, and their marketing director praised the large increase in sales to HD content. Our HD Tony Group commercials increased sales by over 50% in just one month. As commercial advertisers, we take personal responsibility in creating an advertisement-to-real world crossover. We expect our High Quality and High Definition commercial work to show measurable results in improving your product, increasing your sales, and making your brand popular.
Branding Spots: A Brand is an embodiment of all the information connected to a company, service, or product. Name, logo, slogan, design scheme, and theme are all elements that incorporate a brand. Brands are usually communicated via images and ideas, and incorporate Name, logo, slogan, design scheme, and the company/product theme. The most effective form of Branding Advertising is through Narrative Commercial Production, because of the power of emotion and creativity inherent in visual media. We take the most care and feel the most pride in our TV branding spots, and we make sure that our branding spots not only turnaround into increases sales and client production, but we take it upon ourselves to create a quality production that could be considered an Award Winning Short Film at an International Level.

Music Videos
Music Videos: Short films or videos that accompany a piece of music. Most music videos are used as a marketing device to promote the sale of music recordings. The making of a music video, however, is a fun art form that we love. When we’re not making movies, we’re listening to music. The music video medium is unlike any other form of visual media because there are no ‘rules’. They can be artsy and far fetched, touching and close, fun and wild, or anywhere in between. The content of the video is often driven by the feeling and emotion the song and lyrics communicate. We see a music video a short film, complete with a story that compliments the emotion of the song.

Online Productions As tech driven geeks, we know the future of our industry.
WEBTV The Future: The integration of Web and Television is the future of media. One day, instead of flipping through channels, we will be flipping Websites. In six years, YouTube produced more content then ABC did in its entire 60 year existence. The top 10 videos, in a relatively short existence, have accumulated over 1.6 Billion views. Much of the content, however, has very few views. Quality and content does makes the difference, along with how the video is distributed. The goal of advertising a WEBTV video is to use the internet for what it was made. Information Sharing. The goal is to create a hit video that becomes a “Viral Video” in which a video is viewed by one, shared with others via email, blog posts, forums, and social medias (See Social Media below), and the intricate and beautiful web of connection and sharing takes form and multiplies. One strong benefit of online advertising is the accuracy in acquiring measurable results as to how many times the video was viewed, and what the viewers thought of the video. Our Obama spot, for example, received over 7,000 hits and a 5 star rating in just 24 hours due to the power of information sharing.
WEBISODES: WEBISODES are the integration of the Web and TV episodic television. Hit TV shows, such as ABC’s LOST are being posted on the web to be seen by anyone, anytime, and in HD as new, time controlled advertisements separate scenes. New Webisodes that show or stream first for the Internet are growing in popularity and creating Webisode series, and advertisers are looming larger into this field. Webisodes are not bound by TV rules of time length and viewing time. They can be any length in time as the content and story determine the length. Perhaps the best part is the unlinear viewing model, whereby anyone can view a webisode at anytime.

Social Media, Forums, Blogs: The world of social networking through online media sites, forums, and blogs, tie individuals and organizations together into an online social structure. The ties that bound them include friendship, values, ideas, interests, trade, current news, conflict, and finances. Did you know, that if Myspace were a country, it would be the 8th largest in the world? And did you know Hawaii has several bloggers with thousands of followers? Or that a niche forums exist which consist of hardcore followers of a certain product or service? We do:)
Mass Multi Player Video Game Advertisements: The most popular Mass Multi Player Game, World of Warcraft, has the 18th largest economy in the world. Much of this is through the very newest form of advertising, online gaming advertising. The next step in the ever expanding world of the web is the integration of MMOG with WEBTV. Just ask Google what they’re doing. HDology will be among the first to delve into this new, exciting world with a roofless limit. And we want to reap the benefits with our clients.
